Photographer Corina Urwin

Corrina Urwin
Kia ora
My name is Corina Urwin (nee Basher) and I aspire to become a professional photographer.
I was born in Napier in 1977 and my tribe is Ngatikahanunu on my mother’s side.
My mother was born in Wairoa and raised in Nuhaka. My father is European and was born and raised in Napier. I alsohave an older brother. My family all still live in Napier. I moved to Wellington in 1998 where I met my husband and had a beautiful boy named Hunter in 2007. After having Hunter we decided to move to Brisbane in August 2007 for the lifestyle it offers, and to start a new journey in our lives, this has given me the
opportunity to do what I love - photography.Currently I am self-taught and plan on expanding my skills with studies and justgetting out there with my camera. My favourite style of photography is portraitureas I love to capture the different emotions in people (capturing a small moment intime that will last a life time). My current goal is to run a successful photography business from home. My long term goal is to do wedding photography, and to also teach others that are wanting to get into the world of photography.
